Description
Ultra Sonic Resin Cleaner W230 from UniFormation is an effective cleaning machine that has a capacity of 7 litres and uses powerful ultrasonic technology to gently and carefully clean your resin-printed models. The resin cleaner is made from corrosion-resistant materials and is therefore more durable than, for example, plastic cleaning devices.
Ultrasonic cleaning for best results
To ensure that your printed models are gently but evenly cleaned, the powerful cleaning device uses ultrasonic technology with high-frequency vibrations of 40 kHz.
Design features for flexible cleaning options
► The device has a corresponding slot specifically for the GKtwo build plate. This means it can be completely immersed in the cleaning fluid for thorough cleaning.
► The included cleaning basket is used to clean models that have been removed from the plate. The basket is equipped with a fine mesh so that tiny particles cannot slip, tip over or even become damaged.
► The Resin Cleaner is equipped with a practical folding cover, making it incredibly easy to use. If the lid is closed, the cleaning liquid inside can be stored for further use.
► An integrated drain opening makes changing the cleaning fluid a breeze.

The resin cleaner has a huge capacity of 7 litres, which means it can also accommodate larger models. It is compatible with the UniFormation GKtwo as well as with most DLP/SLA printers on the market.

The GK2 build plate fits so well theres no mess and resin cleaning is so easy. Im using tap water wash with Sunlu ABS like Water wash resin so No IPA.

unfortunately after running this cleaner for some months the drainage fitting attached to the plastic drum holding all the liquid leaked. had to cut away the metal siding to get at the fitting. they really should have used a metal drum for the liquid area with a soldered fitting

I bought this, along with the gk resin printer and their uv curing chamber.
The idea was to simplify the process and minimise mess. You can drop the print plate straight in the top of the sonic tank and run a cleaning cycle. I use the default 3 mins with just tap water and under 10% ipa added. This is a safe amount to add. 10% is the max though. Prints come out perfectly clean. Then I pop them off the plate on to a paper towel on a stainless tray to dry and remove of all the ties. If any parts need a re clean I drop them in the basket in the sonic tank and reclean. On occasion where I have lots of dense ties, this helps clean them fully.
The parts then go un the uv curing chamber for 3 mins. All very efficient and quick. It has sped up my production and made working with resin safer. Excellent product.
